HDP X7

The chemical formulation of HDP X7 allows to have a coating with a hardness of 3000HV and inert against metallization phenomena. High toughness and hardness are the two main characteristics of this PVD coating which protects the mold from abrasion, metallization and thermal fatigue phenomena.

Main characteristics

High hardness, high chemical inertness

Main benefits

HDP X7 high hardness and toughness protect the mold from abrasion, metallization and thermal fatigue phenomena. This PVD coating is recommended for particularly difficult alloys, aluminum die-casting and brass hot-forming.
