DLC

The antisticking property and hardness of DLC STS protect the mold from adhesive/abrasive phenomena induced by the processing of light alloys. DLC is used in shearing and bending of light alloys.

Main characteristics

Low friction coefficient, chemical inertness, high hardness

Main benefits

Resistance to abrasion, adhesion and corrosion. Recommended for shearing and bending light alloys.

Innovative solution from STS

Polishing + DLC STS

Risultato

Without coating it is impossible to mold, breakage of the printout is due to gluing phenomena. With polishing and DLC STS the sheet metal is bent and stretched with a breakage reject of 4%.
